Premature (PE for short) is one of the most feared sexual problems of men, perhaps even more than lack of erection. PE is able to change one’s sexual behavior and affect one’s relationships as well as one’s self-confidence level. While it is common for men to suffer from PE from time to time especially if they are young, if the problem persists for some time, it needs to be treated.
The good news is that PE is generally very easy to treat. However, most of us do not know about it or we are too shy to admit our problem to anyone, even ourselves. That’s why the first important step it to say loudly “I have a problem with premature ejaculation! What happens to me is not normal, nor it is caused by myself, it is a medical conditions that can be treated.” Only then you seek medical help.
The general assumption concerning PE is that this is a condition which is most commonly conditioned during adolescence. Then many men, afraid of being caught during sex, try to speed up the intercourse. This behavior often stays with them years after, sometimes deeply hidden until some stressful situation or a sharp mood swing uncovers it. That’s why the main treatment for premature problems is the therapy. Their main goal is to unlearn this behavior and teach participants to prolong sex rather than to keep it short. However, therapy sessions are often very stressful all by themselves because many men find it gross to share their experiences and sexual problems with strangers. Not to mention the fact that men are at large very reluctant to actually listen to other men’s problems.
Psychotherapies have one major drawback: they do not cope with the physiological effects of PE problems. As PE as well as erectile dysfunctions have serious impact on one’s brain and hormonal system, these effects are not simply gone the moment the therapy
